Please be aware of road works & closures

We would like to inform you that Auckland Transport will be carrying out improvement projects on Great North Road from the 10th of March until early May.

This work will affect our business unit, Giltrap Audi, blocking off access on Waima Street and Kirk Street, with Auckland Transport working from 7AM – 7PM on weekdays and 7AM – 6PM on Saturdays as required, with potential overnight works.

The maps below show areas affected and detours. Please follow detour signs to the next accessible side street. See www.AT.govt.nz/greatnorthroad for details of detours.

To access our ChargeNet Chargers, you will have to go around & navigate via Burns Street, the road between the McDonalds and Giltrap Porsche on Great North Road and then onto the one way street, which is Putiki Street.

New road line markings will be installed overnight on Sunday, March 9th, street lightingto support traffic flow around their work sites.

AT will be installing new drainage, ducting, streetlighting, footpaths, cycle lanes, raised tables at intersections, bus stops, and tree pits

Vehicle access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained throughout the works. There will be Traffic Controllers on site to manage access to properties next to our site.

Bus stops within our site will be temporarily closed and signage will direct people to the nearest bus stop.

There will be some pedestrian diversions in place around work sites and no on-street parking within work areas.
